CONSTRUCTION UPDATE – MAY 2024

As we enter May, we are thrilled to report substantial progress on our apartment development project. Each milestone achieved brings us closer to our vision of creating a vibrant community. Here’s a summary of the key developments from the past month:

Progress Highlights

1. Lower Basement Excavation Completed

We are pleased to announce that the excavation of the lower basement level has been completed. This accomplishment sets the stage for the next phases of construction, allowing us to maximize the usable space within the building’s footprint.

2. Pile Trimming Completed

The pile-trimming process has also been finalised. With the piles now at the correct height, we are ready to proceed with the installation of structural elements that will support the building above.

3. Remedial Works to Piles Completed

All necessary remedial works to the piles have been successfully completed. These works are crucial for ensuring that each pile meets the required standards for structural integrity and performance, allowing us to move forward with confidence.

4. Raft Slab & Crane Base Excavated, Formed & Poured

We’ve excavated, formed, and poured the raft slab and crane base. This critical foundation element provides a solid base for the building and the construction crane, allowing for the effective and safe movement of materials as we progress with the vertical construction.

5. Excavation, Forming & Pouring Footings Commenced

The excavation, forming, and pouring of footings have now commenced. Footings are essential for distributing the load of the structure to the ground and ensuring stability. This step marks the beginning of the additional structural framework that will support the building.
