CONSTRUCTION UPDATE – JUNE 2024
As we move into June, we were very excited to get our main site crane fully installed and running. This month has seen significant advancements that bring us closer to bringing The Gardens to life. Here are the key updates from the site this month:
Progress Highlights
1. Crane Installation
We are thrilled to announce that the crane has been successfully installed on-site. This critical piece of equipment will facilitate the efficient movement of materials and equipment as we progress with the vertical construction of the building.
2. Basement Level Shotcrete 75% Complete
The shotcrete application for the basement level is now 75% complete. This reinforced concrete layer is essential for providing a durable and stable structure for the basement walls, ensuring the integrity of the building and waterproofing the basement levels as we move upward.
3. Stormwater Tank Install Complete
The installation of the multitude of stormwater tanks has been successfully completed. These tanks are vital for managing stormwater runoff, contributing to the sustainability and environmental responsibility of the development.
4. Footings 80% Complete
We are pleased to report that the footings are now 80% complete. This important foundational work supports the structure above and ensures that the weight of the building is evenly distributed to the ground across the site.
5. First Ground Slab Pour Completed
The first half of the ground slab pour has been completed. This marks a significant milestone in the project, as it establishes the ground level of the building and sets the stage for the upcoming construction phases.
6. Basement 1 Suspended Slab Formwork Commenced
Formwork for the Basement 1 suspended slab has now also commenced. This process involves creating the framework that will hold the concrete in place until it cures. Once complete, the suspended slab will provide a solid surface for the next levels of the structure.
What’s Next:
Looking ahead, we will continue to focus on completing the shotcrete application, footings, and formwork for the suspended slab. As we progress, the structure will begin to take shape, and we’re excited about the developments in the coming months.
Thank you for your continued interest and support. We will keep you updated as we achieve further milestones in this exciting project. If you have any questions or need more information, please get in touch!
