CONSTRUCTION UPDATE – JUNE 2025

As we move through the winter months, progress across The Gardens continues with key milestones achieved in both structural and finishing works. June marked the completion of one of the project’s most technically complex features — the suspended pool shell — alongside strong momentum across services, waterproofing, and internal fit-out.

Attention to detail remains a key focus on site, particularly with waterproofing and service integration works that lay the foundation for long-term quality and performance.

Progress Highlights:

1. Level 5 Planter Walls & Waterproofing Continued
   Planter wall construction and waterproofing works continued across Level 5. Waterproofing to the structure remains a critical activity requiring precision and quality control at every stage.
2. Suspended Pool Shell Structure Completed
   Construction of the full pool shell was finalised this month — a major milestone for the building. The completed structure now stands as a testament to the project’s engineering ambition.
3. Structural Steel Installation Completed
   Key structural steel elements were installed, supporting the rooftop facilities level infrastructure which will include a stunning private residents dining and lounge room that opens onto a casual dining area with BBQs, fully-equipped commercial quality gymnasium an sauna, and a landscaped pool deck with heated pool.
4. Acrylic Render Installation Continued (Levels 1–4)
   External acrylic render works progressed across Levels 1 to 4, further shaping the building’s facade.
5. Level 3–4 Services Installation Continued
   Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic services installation continued across Levels 3 and 4.
6. Level 4 Stud Wall Installation Completed
   Internal partition framing was completed on Level 4, enabling the next phase of linings and finishes.
7. Level 2–4 Ceiling Installation Continued
   Ceiling systems installation continued across Levels 2 through 4, including framing and sheeting.
8. Level 2 Flushing Continued
   Wall flushing works (joint treatment and plaster preparation) progressed on Level 2.
9. Ground Floor Floor Tiling Screeding Commenced
   Preparation for ground floor tiling began with screeding works now underway.
10. Ground Floor Floor Finishes – Prep Commenced
    Surface preparation also commenced for the installation of floor finishes at ground level.

Looking Ahead

With internal finishes now accelerating and major structural works nearing completion, the coming months will see further transformation — both inside and out — as The Gardens edges closer to welcoming its first residents in December 2025.
