CONSTRUCTION UPDATE – JANUARY 2026
Momentum Builds Toward Practical Completion
January delivered strong recovery momentum across internal finishes, after the traditional Christmas holiday shutdown of the construction industry with significant gains in flooring installation and amenity completion. Attention is now firmly focused on compliance, commissioning, and preparation for Practical Completion.
Progress Highlights:
- Timber Flooring Progress Accelerates (Ground–Level 3 Completed) – Momentum built across timber flooring installation, with works now completed from the Ground Floor through to Level 3.
- Pool Decking Installation Commenced – Pool decking installation commenced, complementing the completed pool tiling.
- Pool Filled & Commissioned – The pool was filled with over 150 tonnes of water, with pool equipment installed and commissioned — a major project milestone.
- Gym Equipment Installed – Gym equipment was installed on the completed sprung floor, finalising this key resident amenity.
- Fitout of Shared Facilities area commenced – The shared facilities kitchen fitout commenced. This area when completed will include large communal TV and gas fireplace with all of said opening up to the balcony terrace.
- Parcel Locker Installed – The courier parcel locker incorporating refrigerated areas for grocery temporary storage was installed ready for residents use via parcel locker app.
- Levels 1–2 Apartments – Builder’s Clean Completed – Initial builder’s cleans were completed for apartments across Levels 1 and 2.
- West Elevation Panels & Post Walls Installed – West elevation panel and post walls were installed, including landscaping backfilling and perimeter works to complete this boundary zone.
- Practical Completion Target Holding – The current Practical Completion target date remains 18 March 2026.
- Compliance & Title Conditions Progressing – DA and compliance note conditions from the City of Nedlands are being diligently progressed, along with Landgate legal compliance matters required for title issuance. Titles and settlement remain targeted for April 2026
Looking Ahead
February will concentrate on closing all outstanding finishes out – start the process of final inspections, commissioning of building systems, defect rectification, and achieving Practical Completion. Compliance and title-related matters will continue to be progressed to ensure a smooth pathway toward settlement in April.
