CONSTRUCTION UPDATE – FEBRUARY 2025

February has seen steady progress on multiple fronts at The Gardens, with significant structural and services advancements across all levels of the development.

Progress Highlights:

1. Level 4 Area 1 Slab Pour Completed

The concrete slab for Level 4 Area 1 has been successfully poured, marking another key step forward in the structural progress.

2. Level 4 Area 2 Slab Pour Completed

The second slab pour for Level 4 has been finalised, further reinforcing the upper levels of the building.

3. Level 4 AFS Walls Completed

The AFS (Advanced Formwork Systems) walls for Level 4 have been fully installed. These pre-fabricated panels provide excellent fire resistance and sound insulation, forming a strong foundation for applied finishes.

4. Level 4 Core Walls Installed

The core walls on Level 4 have been installed, providing crucial structural support for the upper sections of the building.

5. Level 1 Light Steel Framing Commenced

The light steel framing for Level 1 is underway, outlining interior spaces and supporting future fit-out activities.

6. Ground Floor Window Installation Commenced

Exciting work has begun on the installation of windows on the ground floor, progressing towards enclosing the building before winter rains commence.

7. Ground Floor & 1st Floor Services Reticulation Continues

The installation of essential services, including plumbing and electrical systems, is ongoing across the ground and first floors.

8. Level 2 FCU (Fan Coil Units) for Air Conditioners Installed

The installation of fan coil units on Level 2 has been completed, a key step in the HVAC system’s implementation.

9. Basement 2 Fire Sprinkler Installation Completed

Fire safety systems in Basement 2 have been installed, ensuring compliance with fire regulations and enhancing overall building safety.
