CONSTRUCTION UPDATE – DECEMBER 2025

Finishes Progress Amid Scheduling Pressures

December saw important progress across internal finishes and amenity areas, despite ongoing scheduling challenges in cabinetry and timber flooring. Several key milestones were achieved as the project continued its transition into final completion phases.

Progress Highlights:

  • Timber Flooring Installation Commenced (Ground–Level 2) – After earlier delays, timber flooring installation commenced across the Ground Floor through to Level 2.
  • Ground Floor External Planters Completed – External planters at ground level were completed, finalising landscaping at the building’s primary entrance interface.
  • Pool Waterproofing & Tiling Completed – Both waterproofing and tiling of the pool were completed, bringing this feature close to final commissioning.
  • Gym Sprung Floor Installed – The fully sprung gym floor was installed, preparing the space for equipment placement.
  • Ground Floor Apartments – Builder’s Clean Completed – Initial builder’s clean was completed within Ground Floor apartments, marking a key milestone toward handover readiness.
  • Central Stair Foyer Taking Shape – The central stair foyer progressed significantly and is now presenting as a refined architectural feature.
  • Cabinet Installation Remains Behind Schedule – Cabinet installation continues to lag behind the construction program due to supply and installation constraints.
  • Timber Flooring Catch-Up Efforts Underway – While still behind program, additional labour has now been secured to accelerate timber flooring installation.
  • Practical Completion Revised – Delays associated with cabinetry and flooring have impacted the builder’s Practical Completion date, now revised to 18 March 2026.
  • Titles & Settlement Timeline  – Titles & Settlement, assuming no issues or hold ups by the City of Nedlands and Landgate we are pushing hard to achieve by mid-April all going well.

Looking Ahead
January will focus on accelerating flooring completion across upper levels, finalising pool commissioning, installing gym equipment, and progressing additional builder’s cleans in preparation for formal authority building inspections.
